We have a common goal – ensuring that your systems operate perfectly at all times and are immediately restored to full efficiency after a malfunction. Our maintenance service therefore includes both routine maintenance measures, such as preventive and corrective maintenance, and overhauls. As part of your service contract, we will develop a specific service package to care for your systems, which can be supplemented with our remote service if required.
Our maintenance services for your systems:
- Inspection
During a typical inspection, G&D service engineers evaluate the current state of your banknote processing systems. They start with an intensive analysis of the mechanics and electronics, create an inspection report from the results, and propose improvements for optimizing your systems. - Preventive maintenance
Systematic system maintenance is crucial to maintaining the target state and minimizing malfunctions. We create an individual maintenance plan for you, e.g. determining intervals for replacing wear parts, and support you in performing the required maintenance measures. That ensures consistently high system performance. - Corrective maintenance
Even when systems are regularly maintained, malfunctions can occur. When this happens, G&D service engineers step in with corrective measures to restore the system to full performance as fast as possible. After a specific diagnosis, the identified faults are repaired and the system is thoroughly checked to make sure everything is functioning as it should. - Overhaul
In addition to the routine maintenance measures, listed above, G&D recommends general overhauls for systems that have been used intensively for a long period. The aim of a general overhaul is to replace machine parts that are approaching the end of their service life due to the level of wear. After an overhaul, machines are coming close towards their original performance capabilities. That allows for an extended period of use. The customer’s investment is protected for the future.
