Convego Element offers the basis for secure EMV migration. EMV is a standard from the largest credit card companies in the world – MasterCard, Visa, JCB, and American Express – and is used to implement chip-based payment for debit and credit cards. With Convego Element, banks can offer their customers multi-functional EMV smartcards that are both high-quality and secure.

All cards based on Convego Element satisfy the current security requirements of Visa and MasterCard and are developed and accredited according to the international specifications for payment cards based on the EMV 4.2 standards.
