Use SmartTrust DP to support your NFC applications

Credit and debit cards, public transport tickets, door access, and loyalty coupons are examples of applications that can reside in a mobile phone supporting Near Field Communication (NFC). With the Giesecke & Devrient SmartTrust TSM Enabler and SmartTrust DP OTA (Over-the-Air) platform, third-party service providers are easily connected through well-defined APIs and offered Web-based administration interfaces for full control of users, applications, and security.

The SmartTrust TSM Enabler provides an interface for third parties to access and download OTA commands to the UICC (Universal Integrated Circuit Card – commonly referred to as the SIM) through the mobile network operator’s OTA platform. Having all OTA traffic go through one platform simplifies the ecosystem because it is only necessary to update one system with UICC data. It also means the mobile network operator can ensure the security of commands sent to the UICC.

Trusted connectivity with SmartTrust DP

The SmartTrust DP OTA platform is used by many of the largest mobile network operators worldwide and has a capacity reaching 1,000 SMS per second. The platform can be deployed in high-availability and geo-redundant configurations, providing you with the reliability required for secure transactions.
