SmartTrust Wib is the world's most widely deployed Dynamic SIM Toolkit (DSTK) interpreter. It enables mobile application developers to benefit from multiple mature technologies, including DSTK, JAVA, Cell Broadcast, USSD, and GPRS. Operators can address all subscriber segments with advanced mobile value-added services.

SmartTrust Wib is a DSTK interpreter independent of card vendor. Initially developed in 1998 and released in 1999, it has become the de facto standard for SIM-based application interpreters. It has the support of a full set of development tools and the SIM certification program SmartTrust Certified.

The specifications for SmartTrust Wib have been developed in cooperation with major SIM card vendors, application developers, and operators to ensure its openness and usability.

Mobile application developers can take advantage of proven technologies such as Cell Broadcast, USSD, and DSTK to create mobile services able to reach a potential customer base in excess of one billion subscribers. All major SIM vendors have implemented SmartTrust Wib, and to date over 150 implementations from more than 25 vendors have passed the extensive compliance tests conducted under our SmartTrust Certified program, earning formal certification approval.
